Long Overdue

Goodness it has been too long so i'll start it off right.

Get the Most - "Together" - Blue (400)

This record is their best yet in my opinion. I'm a fan of the previous records but listening to this LP just really hits my youth crew spot so to speak. I can listen to this from beginning to end and get progressively happier about my life and the final track "Optimistic View,"  I don't think they could've ended the record any better. Also with guest vocal appearences by Jim Hesketh and Aram Arslanian on the album really pushes this album to another level. Definitely check this out if you haven't.

Go It Alone - "Histories" - White w/ S&F '07 Stamp (#51/110)

I love this record I think it's definitely different from "The Only Blood Between Us" but it's definitely a great progression.

Bitter End - "Guilty As Charged" - Grey/Maroon Swirl (300)

Questionably the best Hardcore record of the year, this album packs a punch equivalent to the hammer of Thor. In many ways surpassing their awesome riffs and vocals from Climate of Fear but also making a new name for itself, It feels like I'm being punished song after song (minus the spanish guitar interlude).

Fire & Ice - "Grim" - Teal (100)

In my opinion, this sophomore 7" from a band that hasn't even been around a year is definitely a great improvement on the previous 7" entitled "Gods & Devils." The hype from this band is definitely something fierce but they definitely do their best to perform up to the high standards people set for them. This record does disappoint in the least.

The Mongoliods - "New Beginnings" - Record Release - Black (50)

With a properly titled record, I believe this is a new beginning for the mongos cause this record is definitely getting back to the "Time Trials Sound" and with all the new members and all the rumors of "stealing" and what not, it definitely brings something fresh to the table. This record was released at the Six Feet Under Records Showcase and with a very humorous cover which is a true representation of The Mongoloids "Attitude".

The Rival Mob - "Hardcore for Hardcore" - Yellow (???)

This is a great record hands down even though this band is really overhyped right now they do bring something to the hardcore table that now many bands can compete with.
