Super Slacker Post

Im apparently not with it cause I haven't posted anything since september even though I have plenty to post. Lets get started!

Band Of Horses - "Cease To Begin"

Definitely one of my new favorites front to back I still need their first record and the newest one Infinite Arms.

Arcade Fire - "The Suburbs"

One of my top ten albums of 2010, I love this record so much. It's hard not to.

Billy Joel - "The Stranger"

A classic record, why wouldn't you buy this if you had the chance

Blkout! - "Total Depravity"

The thunder from down under!!

Blood For Blood - "Revenge On My Society" - Red

One of those records that will always get you pumped or help you vent in any situation

Creedence Clearwater Revival - "S/T"

Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young - "Deja Vu"

Fleetwood Mac - "S/T"

The Jimi Hendrix Experience - "Axis: Bold As Love"

Miles Davis - "Bitches Brew"

The Moody Blues - "Days Of Future Passed"

Mumford & Sons - "Sigh No More"

Im addicted to this record

Saves The Day - "Sound The Alarm"

Saves The Day - "Under The Boards" - White w/Blue Strip (70)

Sigur Ros - "Takk"

Stevie Wonder - "Hotter Than July"

Stevie Wonder - "Innervisions"

Surfer Blood - "Astro Coast" - Purple Swirl

I wish I knew the pressing info for his record

Van Halen - "I"

With Honor - "This Is Our Revenge" - Green

This record should be in everyone's collection

Now here are some record store day exclusives I picked up last saturday, nothing special

Long Overdue

Goodness it has been too long so i'll start it off right.

Get the Most - "Together" - Blue (400)

This record is their best yet in my opinion. I'm a fan of the previous records but listening to this LP just really hits my youth crew spot so to speak. I can listen to this from beginning to end and get progressively happier about my life and the final track "Optimistic View,"  I don't think they could've ended the record any better. Also with guest vocal appearences by Jim Hesketh and Aram Arslanian on the album really pushes this album to another level. Definitely check this out if you haven't.

Go It Alone - "Histories" - White w/ S&F '07 Stamp (#51/110)

I love this record I think it's definitely different from "The Only Blood Between Us" but it's definitely a great progression.

Bitter End - "Guilty As Charged" - Grey/Maroon Swirl (300)

Questionably the best Hardcore record of the year, this album packs a punch equivalent to the hammer of Thor. In many ways surpassing their awesome riffs and vocals from Climate of Fear but also making a new name for itself, It feels like I'm being punished song after song (minus the spanish guitar interlude).

Fire & Ice - "Grim" - Teal (100)

In my opinion, this sophomore 7" from a band that hasn't even been around a year is definitely a great improvement on the previous 7" entitled "Gods & Devils." The hype from this band is definitely something fierce but they definitely do their best to perform up to the high standards people set for them. This record does disappoint in the least.

The Mongoliods - "New Beginnings" - Record Release - Black (50)

With a properly titled record, I believe this is a new beginning for the mongos cause this record is definitely getting back to the "Time Trials Sound" and with all the new members and all the rumors of "stealing" and what not, it definitely brings something fresh to the table. This record was released at the Six Feet Under Records Showcase and with a very humorous cover which is a true representation of The Mongoloids "Attitude".

The Rival Mob - "Hardcore for Hardcore" - Yellow (???)

This is a great record hands down even though this band is really overhyped right now they do bring something to the hardcore table that now many bands can compete with.

Live from a Climate of Fear w/ Gods & Devils

Hello all. It's been a little while since I posted. I've been stalling a bit on posting so I can make a bigger post for your enjoyment. First off I got a copy of Revenge "S/T" and it is awesome. I love the color, I love the music and I will continue to support this band for a long time. And if anyone know the pressing info for this record, just drop me a comment or email me  HERE.

Revenge - "S/T" - Purple w/Splatter (???)

So I have two main collections (The Mongoloids, Blacklisted) and after they're done I'm gonna work on Bitter End. Since my Mongo collection only needs two more pieces I have picked up a few pieces to go towards the Bitter end collection. Here is the newest piece.

Bitter End - "Climate of Fear" SFU011 - Red/White (305)

So I guess I also have a Fire & Ice collection cause the only piece I'm missing is the United Blood 2010 Cover that was sold by the band w/ the agnostic front rip off cover out of 50. Here is a sweet piece to the F&I collection.

Fire & Ice - "Gods & Devils" TBR016 - TEST PRESS (#14/15)

Now a sweet addition to a main collection.....

Blacklisted - "Live From Nowhere USA" 6131 - TEST PRESS (20)

And last but not least is the 48th piece of the Mongoloids collection. Took me forever to find someone to give this one up which I thought was odd but who cares cause I own it now so I'm pumped.

The Mongoloids - "Time Trials" 7" RIPTIDE - Black w/Inside/Out Sound & Fury Cover (40)

Thanks for reading and I'll be posting again soon.

Bye bye.

March Madness 3.0!!!

So first off, I received my NAILS pre-order for Six Feet Under Records. Not sure about the pressing info but I definitely wasn't expecting to pull out a colored vinyl when I took this picture. Seeing as how their first release had one pressing and one color (black), I just assumed they would keep it classic and stick with black.

NAILS - "Unsilent Death" - Pink (???)

A few days ago I received my Harms Way pre-order as well. I love the colors they chose for the 3 variations. Just like the record above, I have no idea what the pressing info is for these records. And if you haven't listen to this 7", get on it! Download it, buy it, do something but you have to hear it. They have a song on their myspace called "Fantasy" and it is HHHEEEAVVVYYYY! Check out NAILS too. They are intense and angry and awesome.

Harms Way - "No Gods, No Masters"

This next one is one of my favorite albums and probably one of the coolest covers I have ever seen.
The dude I got it from also gave me a free 7"and when I opened the package to see what 7" I got, I expected something crappy that he just wanted to get rid of cause he knew he couldn't sell it. So first I'll show the 7"

ON - "Vital Times" - White (250)

Why he gave this to me for free I will never know. I have seen this record go for around $30 on ebay which blows my mind that I got it for free. And now the record I paid for.......

Bitter End - "Climate of Fear" - Pilsner Beer w/United Blood Cover (54)

And lastly, like the record nerd that I am, I took another picture of my Blacklisted Collection except I put the records all together this time. Here ya go!

March Madness 2.0!!!

Hello all! Got a couple good ones in recently, Both which are contributing to active collections.

And here they are............

Fire & Ice - "Gods & Devils" - Black w/Winter Tour Cover '09 (100)

I now have all the variations of Gods & Devils. The only other piece I need is the test press but we'll get into that later. ;)

This next one shouldn't be any surprise at all....

The Mongoloids - "Time Trials" 7" - TEST PRESS (#6/7)

Only 3 more records to go until this collection is complete!

Stay tuned chitlins for their is much more good stuff to come!
